About Churna : Churna forest rest house is a British-era forest rest house located in the Bori Sanctuary within Satpura Tiger Reserve. The accommodations at Churna forest rest house is admittedly simple but all basic amenities like en-suite bathroom & solar electricity is there. What makes it wildlife traveler’s heaven is it is the only tiger reserve in state where safe night stay is allowed inside core area where you can witness the serene natural atmosphere far from pollution and crowd where you can detoxify your body and thoughts.

3 day 2 night all inclusive tour to only National Park in central India where stay in core area is allowed – Satpura National Park which includes a lot more than the exciting open gypsy safari. Apart from Tigers, other important animals in this park are leopards, wild dogs, wild cats, foxes, sloth bears, hyenas, langurs, wild boars and jackals. Reptiles including crocodiles, pythons, cobras, krait and other varieties of snakes are easily found in this National Park. With a professional naturalist and licensed guide, get a chance to see the Tigers in a wildlife jungle open gypsy safari inside Satpura National Park. Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Meet at pickup point and start early morning drive for 7hrs Ex-Indore / 4hrs Ex-Bhopal to reach destination.
Breakfast & lunch with chance to see the tribal life on the way.
Upon arrival at Park gate, after the entry formalities the game drive starts for appx 1 hour before reaching Forest Rest House where we will stay for next 2 days.
Evening will be spent observing birds and animals around followed by Dinner.
Night will began with strange sounds of wild animals and real stories of animal encounters.

Day 2

Bed tea @ 5:45am
Depart @ 6:30am for 4 hour long game drive where we will try to track and spot wild tigers and other animals.
After returning you have option to have rest or roam around to observe birds and other tiny creatures followed by lunch. Indian Giant Squirrel frequently visits Forest Rest House during these hours.
3:30pm – Time for another 4 hour long game drive in case you missed Tiger in morning time.
During night try your hands on star trail photography followed by Dinner.

Day 3

Checkout after breakfast for return journey with memories and lunch on way.

Tour Inclusion

Transportation by Private Air-Conditioned neat and clean “Mahindra XUV500” Diesel Sports Utility Vehicle with spacious and comfortable seating for 4 people manufactured in year 2013 with safety features like Airbags, ABS, EBD, Childlock and many more.
Two Jungle safari in open vehicle with private naturalist and licensed guide during jungle safari.
Stay in basic forest camp which is the only place in which you can stay overnight. (Note: In the Forest Camp, rooms are allotted on double sharing basis). Forest Rest House accommodations across the country are basic. Bed linen, towels and bottled water will be carried by the ISLP Indore team. Food served at the camp is hygienic but will be simple vegetarian Indian cuisine.
Since this accommodation facility is operated by the forest department and its primary function is not tourism, bookings may be cancelled at forest department discretion.
